Quality Engineer

Due to continued expansion, Morson Talent require a talented and ambitious Quality Engineer, someone looking to take their next step on the QA ladder. The Quality Engineer will be required to develop and deploy quality processes to enhance the level of service to customers. Key Objectives: Ensure that the customer agreed SLA is met and exceeded with respect to the quality metrics. Maximise efficiency in the process while guaranteeing the highest possible level of quality at the lowest cost of ownership to the business. Develop a continuous improvement methodology approach and implement across the business unit using statistical techniques Key benefits to the business: Shared benefits of CI initiatives to other locations Consistency of approach and measurement with respect to QPC monitoring and reporting This will benefit clients by providing improvement in customer satisfaction, churn, and advocacy. Improved co-operation and communication Experience Introducing and developing SPC to measure and manage the test, repair and refurbishment operation Developing and delivering a KPI template for internal customer / supplier relationships Developing and delivering a process and product FMEA Expanding ISO9001 to underpin all activities through continual audit approach Operational experience of TQM, Six Sigma, Kaizen and Lean manufacturing Conversant with, and experience of Industry standards of quality and reliability Continuous improvement Investigative techniques Project management tools and techniques Development of product hardware and software Strategy Develop strategy to deliver substantial improvements in the reliability of repaired products by driving improvement through the business based on Results of process improvements Development of objective testing methodology To apply, or for more detail, please send over your latest CV to Steve Johnstone on  NB - For security reasons, applications will only be considered from UK and EU Nationals.
