Learning Support Assistant Mansfield £420 - £445 Per Week Monday – Friday (Full time, Temporary to Permanent) Start Date: 30th of September 2024 – Flexible start dates. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with Special Educational needs in a school based in Mansfield. Your duties within this job role will consist of encouraging the children to take part in academic, physical or sensory lessons put together by class teachers that is tailored to the class type. The additional needs you will encounter when working in this setting are Autism, SLD, PMLD (Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities). Within this setting you may also experience some students with behaviours that challenge such as:  ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional& Mental Health) and Heightened Anxieties. You might additionally find yourself working with children who have visual or hearing impairments, multi-sensory impairments, sensory processing difficulties or physical difficulties.
