FLT Driver 4 On 4 Off

We are looking for FLT Drivers with Counterbalance to work for our Client based in Hamilton, Leicester.  They are a multinational company with sites in Leicester and Rothley and are passionate about the future of our planet.  The FLT Driver with Counterbalance role is a temp to perm role.  Please read below if you want more information on the FLT Driver role. Pay for the FLT Driver – temp to perm £11.59 per hour with a shift allowance of £14.49 per hour once training is completed. Hours / Shifts: 4 on 4 off consisting of 2 days and 2 nights then 4 days off 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am While you are being trained you will be on days – 9am to 5.30pm Duties and Responsibilities: To guarantee the transport of finished good pallets in compliance with ISO 9001 Keep all palletisers/ out-feed conveyors clear of finished good pallets promptly to prevent any stoppage in converting production Keep finished good pallets from the end of the converting line or production area and move them to the designated warehouse Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies Operate FLT trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectations Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need Ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to Additional Requirements: Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions Carry out periodic stocktaking activities Guarantee the warehouse space optimization Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need Ensure a high level of housekeeping in the working area is maintained throughout the shift To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to What is on offer: Temp to perm for the right candidate Discounted staff shop  Competitive pension  On-site staff car parking  For more information and to apply get in touch with Jane at our Loughborough Branch to submit your application
