Compliance Officer

Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Compliance Officer on behalf of Luton Borough Council. You will be responsible to: To support the work of the Project Manager in keeping the key action and improvement plans updated, liaising with key managers across the service To undertake discovery and analysis across the service to feed into the improvement programme To undertake research into good practice and the findings of RSH inspections and to make recommendations based in those findings To monitor Housing Ombudsman findings including maladministration and severe maladministration cases across the sector and to communicate these findings and any implications to the housing service To act as a liaison point for tenant representative groups including Tenant Board and Tenant Scrutiny Panel To assist with identifying training needs across the service and in arranging training where this is needed, assisting in embedding cultural change To develop and maintain a database of policies and procedures for the housing service and a schedule of regular updates To manage a database of evidence from across the service in support of the requirements of the RSH and the Consumer Standards, TSMs and compliance with the Housing Ombudsman Spotlight Reports To prepare updates and communications for all audiences across housing services including residents, on regulation, inspection and Housing Ombudsman findings on behalf of the project managerAbout Us Luton Borough Council have partnered with Kent County Council to create Connect2Luton, a recruitment managed service for all contingent temporary agency, contract, and interim roles at the Council.
