Are you an experienced MIG/MAG Welder seeking a stable, long-term position with outstanding pay and opportunities for advancement? Our client, a leader in steel fabrication, is expanding and introduced a second shift at their Risca site. These are permanent positions directly with our client Why Join Us? Competitive PAYE Pay Rates: Day Shift: £17.37 per hour (£33,871 basic annual salary) Late Shift: £23.15 per hour (£45,143 basic annual salary) Overtime up to £34.74 per hour Shift Options; These are set shifts, not rotating Early Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm Late Shift: Monday to Friday, 3pm - 11pmKey Responsibilities: Fabricate structural steel items of various grades and thicknesses. Perform MIG/MAG welding, including downhand, fillet, and butt welds. Weld to coded standards and ensure compliance with detailed engineering specifications. Work from detailed engineering drawings to ensure precision and quality. Experience with flux core welding is a plus, but training will be provided if needed.What We’re Looking For: Experience: Time-served or apprentice-trained welders with shop floor experience in a structural or heavy steel environment. Skills: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and weld to coded standards.
