Job Title: Carpenter Location: Malvern, Worcestershire Salary: £24 per hour Employment Type: Full-time, Contract About the Role: Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join their team in Malvern on a contract basis. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of carpentry tasks, including construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures and fittings. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects with a competitive hourly rate of £24. Key Responsibilities: Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to project specifications. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinetry, and moulding. Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fittings. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials required and installation processes. Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and standards.Requirements: Proven experience as a carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Ideally, hold an NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification. Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Full UK driving licence.What We Offer: £24 per hour.
