The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of the supply chain operations including, demand & supply planning processes, scheduling, order fulfilment, inventory management, logistics and warehousing. About the Supply Chain Manager Role
Reporting into the Global Supply Chain Director, you will manage a small team to ensure customer requirements are met on time and in full. Develop and standardise supply chain procedures and protocols in areas of responsibility.
Other requirements will include:
- Lead and manage the planning, scheduling, logistics and warehousing team
- Lead the site Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings each month
- Develop KPIs to drive excellence throughout the site’s supply chain performance and meets / exceeds company objectives.
- Develop a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the site supply chain
- Lead, coach and motivate staff, identify training needs, assess and action at all levels to generate optimum efficiency and performance.
About You
As Supply Chain Manager, you will have demonstrable experience coaching, supporting, leading and managing teams. You will also have experience in working with global supply chains with proven capability to deliver sustainable improvements in OTIF, optimising inventory levels and material flow.
Other requirements will include:
- Degree qualified (or qualified by experience) ideally with relevance to Supply Chain or Operations Management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Evidence of strong communication skills, including data mining, analytics and report writing
- An understanding of regulations relating to ADR & IATA would be advantageous.
